Brief Description Of Automatic Exhaust Valve
- May 28, 2018 -

Automatic exhaust valve works:

The working principle of the automatic exhaust valve is that when gas in the system overflows, the gas will climb up the pipe and eventually gather at the highest point of the system. The automatic exhaust valve is usually installed at the highest point of the system when the gas enters the automatic exhaust. The valve cavity gathers in the upper part of the exhaust valve. As the gas inside the valve increases, the pressure rises. When the gas pressure is greater than the system pressure, the gas will cause the water in the cavity to fall. The buoy will fall along with the water level and open the exhaust port. After draining, the water level rises and the buoy rises, closing the exhaust port. By the same token, when negative pressure is generated in the system, the water level in the valve cavity drops, and the exhaust port opens. Since atmospheric pressure is greater than the system pressure at this time, the atmosphere will enter the system through the exhaust port to prevent negative pressure. If the bonnet on the exhaust valve body is tightened, the automatic exhaust valve stops exhausting. Normally, the bonnet should be open.

Automatic exhaust valve performance requirements:

a. The automatic exhaust valve should have a large amount of exhaust gas. When the pipe empty pipe is filled with water, it can be quickly discharged to normal water supply capacity in a very short time.

b. Automatic exhaust valve When a negative pressure is generated in the pipe, the piston should be able to open quickly and quickly inhale outside air in large quantities to ensure that the pipeline will not be damaged due to negative pressure. And under working pressure, it can discharge the concentrated air in the pipeline.

c. The automatic exhaust valve should have a relatively high air closing pressure. Within a short period of time before the piston is closed, it should have enough capacity to discharge the air in the pipeline and improve the efficiency of water delivery.

d. The water shutoff pressure of the automatic exhaust valve should not exceed 0.02 MPa, and the exhaust valve can be closed at a lower water pressure, thereby avoiding the large amount of water escaping.

e. Automatic exhaust valve should use stainless steel float (float) as the opening and closing part.

f. The automatic exhaust valve body should be provided with an impact protection inner cylinder to prevent the high speed water flow directly hitting the float (buoy) and causing premature damage to the float (floating tank).

Automatic exhaust valve troubleshooting method:

Heating is not hot:

a. Failure of automatic exhaust valve or improper slope of pipeline to form steam plug;

b. Dirty plugs have not been flushed for years;

c. Multiple valves, especially those provided by the user, are not opened or the valve core is dislodged due to disrepair.

d. The system design is unreasonable. If the piping layout is unreasonable, the pipe diameter is too small and the radiator is too small.

Method of exclusion:

a. Overhaul and replace the exhaust valve, adjust the slope of the pipeline, exhaust air;

b. Rinse the pipe and remove the dirty plug;

c. Overhaul and open all valves that should be opened;

d. Modify the piping and increase the radiator.
