When the liquid enters the pump shell, because the flow channel in the volute pump shell expands gradually, the liquid flow rate decreases gradually, and some kinetic energy is converted to static pressure energy, so the liquid flows out at the outlet of high pressure. Because the centrifugal pump conveying liquid mainly by the role of centrifugal force, it is called centrifugal pump. If handled improperly, centrifugal force produced by the impeller will cause the pump to vibrate and abnormal noise.


When the centrifugal pump is used, it is found that the vibration and noise are abnormal and should be inspected immediately.


1. The base of the pump is reliable


When the vibration occurs, first check whether the anchor bolts of centrifugal pump are fastened. If not fastened will cause the centrifugal pump vibration. Also consider whether the foundation strength is sufficient, sometimes for design reasons, the foundation of soft can also cause vibration.


2, coupling find positive


Many centrifugal pumps are driven by coupling, and there are many types of couplings. The normal operation and service life of the coupling, shaft, bearing and machine seal are directly affected by the conventional three-claw coupling.


3, find the Center


Center is also a common cause of vibration, must be in strict accordance with the standards of the center within the scope of regulation.


4. Bearing inspection.


Bearing installation is defective or damaged.


5, Rotor center position adjustment.


The pump rotor should be concentric with the stator, otherwise the pump will produce friction when running, resulting in vibration.


6. Shaft Bending and rotor measurement


If the vibration is not found outside the cause of the pump can only be dissolved. First measurement, correction axis bending, there is no problem after the rotor small outfit, measuring the overall sway degree, scoop deviation, if exceeded must be corrected.


7, static and dynamic balance detection.


After the centrifugal pump dismantling, in order to avoid the pump vibration, the leaf rotation should also be static balance test.


The influence of external conditions on the pump.


When the pump itself may have all the problems, such as still can not solve the problem of vibration, but also to consider the impact of external conditions on the pump. such as: The natural frequency of the pump base and vibration frequency similar to the resonance, the original motive fault caused by the pump vibration, the connection between the pipeline and the pump using a strong counterpart and other reasons can also cause the abnormal vibration of the pump. Generally take the corresponding measures can solve the problem.
